Top of the Rock is an award-winning, diverse group of women who pursue opportunities for personal growth through a shared love of singing and performing four-part a cappella harmony.

We are a thriving chorus of women sharing our passion for a cappella singing to keep our art form alive for generations to come.
Performance
The main purpose of Top of the Rock is to sing for our community. We sing at annual shows, a number of community events and at an annual competition. We would love to sing at your next function or event. If you're looking for a unique musical experience, please check out our Book Us page.
Education
In addition to sharing our music with others, another great passion of ours is learning more about the art of a cappella singing, especially singing in the barbershop style. Vocal instruction is a regular part of chorus rehearsals and a very important component of the chorus experience. A couple of times a year, we will get coaching from a visiting master in the art of barbershop, where we learn many fabulous tricks of the trade. We are also passionate about sharing our knowledge of this art form with others and host a summer camp for young girls.
Competition
In the spring of every year, Top of the Rock participates in the Region 25 chorus competition. Competitions are a special time for quartets and choruses from our region to come together to sing for each other and to get constructive feedback from a panel of judges. The winners of the regional competition in both quartet and chorus categories are invited to the International Competition, which is held in the fall. The location of the International Competition changes regularly.
In November 2014, Top of the Rock placed third in the world in the Harmony Classic Division AA contest held at the International Competiton in Baltimore, Maryland. Most recently, Top of the Rock competed in New Orleans in September 2019.
Quartets and Ensembles
Most choruses have a number of members who form their own vocal quartets in addition to singing with the chorus.

Affiliation
Top of the Rock is a chapter of
Sweet Adelines International, a nonprofit organization of approximately 21,000 members in choruses and quartets, worldwide. The headquarters is in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
